the cosmopolitan review received the following words of welcome from Dr. Thaddeus Gromada, President and Executive Director of the Polish Institute of Arts and Sciences in America:

Please accept my congratulations and best wishes on the appearance of  "the cosmopolitan review ".  It is indeed an impressive and ambitious project which I hope will endure and be a great success.  The Polish Institute will be glad to promote your publication and hopefully you will do the same for our academic quarterly journal "The Polish Review".  We applaud this initiative and urge you consider collaboration with PIASA.  You and your young colleagues will determine the future of Polish studies and culture in North America, so we invite you to become involved in our activities, in particular the 67th Annual Meeting (a multi-disciplinary conference on Polish studies) scheduled for June 13-14, 2009 at Hyatt Regency Jersey City/on the Hudson. Perhaps you will want to become PIASA members.
